playing junk for variety, in Hold emCan't Post

OK, we all know it's bad to get predictable. That means
you can't just sit around and wait for premium hands.
Rock loses to paper...

So, how often do you limp (or even raise) with rags?
Do you keep track? "The last 15 hands I played solid,
now it's time to play some junk, to keep them off balance..."

Which rags do you play, how much do you invest, are
there particular situations or table compositions you
look for?

I never make the decision to play this way based on any one factor per say. I
usually add in an array of variables based on position, opponents, overal table
appearance, time of day, etc.

In a cash game, almost never. But, I'm raising a lot in general.

In a tournament I'll do it if I need to steal the blinds and feel it is
a good opportunity.

If you are going use complicated Latin phrases, you ought to get them
correct.

per se |pər ˈsā| adverb by or in itself or themselves; intrinsically :
it is not these facts per se that are important. ORIGIN Latin.

Do you really have nothing better to do than correct ones spelling, grammar and
use of complicated Latin phrases? STFU! Something tells me you'll know what
that means despite your obvious "higher learning".
I'm sure the proper use of Latin will certainly help ones poker game! Kudos to
you, sir!

I play 52 from the button or blinds. It's made a profit so far...

2 pair is not the hand to die with in PLO in a multi-way pot on a
coordinated flop.

In a low-limit cash game, deception has very little value, so generally
playing weak hands is just throwing money away. If I get desperate for
action and want to play some trash, I try to remind myself that I can just
wait until my next big blind. If it costs me a raise to see a five-way flop
with J6, that's probably a smaller mistake than K3 as the second limper in
late position.

Randomly. Look at your watch. If (for example) the second hand is
exactly on 2, 6, or 11, play the hand like you would a medium-strength
hand preflop. If you don't hit two pair or better on the flop then
check-fold. Don't get fancy unless you have your opponent completely
outclassed.
