What would YOU have done? Can't Post

About 500 people left (270 get paid) and I have a slightly below-average
stack.

In EP, I look down at AK suited and make a raise to 3xBB.

Short-stack pushes from MP and someone in LP (who has me covered) comes over
the top.

What would you have done?

I would want to know what the blinds are, what your exact chip count is and what
the avg stack is.

If your "short stacked" and have less then 10bb, you never should have raised in
the first place, you should have pushed. If you have 15bb or less, I would have
called and gambled. If I had over 15bb, then I would need to see the answers to
the above to decide for sure.

I wasn't short-stacked. I had around 8,000 chips and the BB was 400. Avg.
stack was about 8,500.

I would have raised more in the first place. I want to discourage
callers with AK. I want one gambler with AJ to call.

What level are we at? What's your M?

This is probably a fold. I don't mind a race with the smallstack but
against two, I'm not liking it so much.

My M was about 15.

Fold. You'll find a better spot than this.

In this case, easy fold.

You know, if the short stack was about 5.5K or more, I'd actually call
this. You're only a huge dog to 2 hands. Odds are, there may be 1 ace
out there. My best ballpark guess is that Dude 1 pushed in with AT or
A9 suited, and your other horse has QQ or JJ. So I put you at about
35%, and you're about tripling up after blinds and antes if the short
stack was 5.5K+.

But if the short stack was really puny, you lay it down. This is a pot
odds situation, and if the math works, you need to make a move while
you're healthy. But if the math doesn't work, there are better spots.

I folded.

My thought process was that I couldn't put them both on pairs and I figured
one or both of my outs were compromised.

Short-stack turned over AQ and LP turned over AK.

AK held up.

Most of my table was shocked when I said I'd folded AK suited.

Several of them said they wouldn't have been able to get away from that
hand.
